When installing batteries observe correct polarity
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Wear gloves and use caution when removing leaking batteries. Make sure you dispose of batteries properly.
Operation:
Remember to keep the objective lens cover on in normal(daylight) condition.
Press the ON button to turn the monocular on. The tube will light up, producing a green image and the green LED next to the eyepiece will illuminate.
Set the front objective lens focus to approximately the middle of its range. Look through the monocular at an object 5-10 meters away and rotate the eyepiece focus ring until the image is focused. The eyepiece ring can then be left at this setting for future use.
The monocular is now ready for use. The front focus ring can be rotated to focus on objects at other distances.
In moderate darkness (e. G a moonlit night) the monocular can be used without the Infra Red (IR) illuminator to prolong battery life. In darker conditions (e. G. Cloudy/moonless nights) the IR illuminator can be switched on by pressing the button on the side of monocular. The red LED next to the eyepiece will illuminate while the IR illuminator is on. Do not look directly into the IR illuminator while it is switched on. To do so could seriously damage your eye sight,
To switch the monocular off, press the ON button again. After the monocular is turned off, the green LED indicator switches off immediately, but the green image remains for several minutes until the image intensifier powers down. This is completely normal and you can continue observation with the monocular during this period.
