Uses:
For mites and insects, with stomach and contact action, not able to kill eggs. Mechanism action is to interference neurophysiological activity, stimulates the release of γ-aminobutyric acid, which inhibit nerve conduction in arthropods. If contacted avermectin, adult mites, insect larvae and nymphs will be paralysed, not active and not feeding, and will die after 2 to 4 days. Because they do not cause rapid dehydration, avermectin lethal effect is more slowly. Avermectin has contact action on predatory insects and parasitoids.
