GDGS Automatic Capacitance&Dissipation Factor Tester
Introduction:
GDGS Automatic 10KV Capacitance&Dissipation Factor Test Set is used to measure dissipation factor (PF) in heavy interference site such as power plants or power substations.
It can also be used in laboratory for high accurate test. The set is whole in one designed: Including precision digital bridge, power unit, reference capacitor (CN), step-up transformer and other electronic circuits.
It's also using frequency shift technology, FFT (Fast Fourier Transform algorithm) and digital filtering. When started, it's running automatically and then outputs the results on LCD display and prints the results automatically.

1. Anti-Interference
For eliminating the heavy interference normally met at on-the-spot test, the set adopts frequency shift technique. For example, if interference frequency is 60Hz, the set can use 55Hz or 65Hz (or 55/65Hz double mode---the set tests by 55Hz and 65Hz, and then gets the averaged result), the interference is then eliminated by digital filter. This method has high performance in getting more accurate and very steady test results. The results are proved no difference with the results get from line frequency under no-interference environment. The frequencies of the set cover both 50Hz and 60Hz. The anti-interference ability of 200% meets all on-the-spot test.
2. High Accuracy
Not only for on-the-spot test, it also can be worked in laboratory for high accuracy test, such as oil dissipation test. The core technique of the set is a high precision digital bridge, using digital signal process, self-calibrating and other advanced technique together. Three terminal high accuracy reference capacitances enhance its performance. All the input resistance is less than 2 Ohm, so the attached capacitance of test cable is negligible.
3. Multi-safe protections
There are many safe protections in the set:
High Voltage Protection: If the specimen is short circuit, broken down or test currents are enlarged abnormally, the output will shut down very quickly without voltage surge at the output.
Input Voltage Protection: If power supply is unstable or broken suddenly, or connected to 380V mistakenly, it will go to protected status.
Grounded Protection: If the case of set being at dangerous voltage due to not well grounded, it'll shut down the output.
Safe Operation: Two power switch; Voltage/current display; Multi-step key operated to confirm; Separated high-voltage outlet; Sound and light alarm.
No voltage overshoot: The test high voltage can exceed the set value when test big capacitance. The set can trace the test voltage and adjust to the set value.
