Gear shifting drum assy for QJ457 with hi/low transmission. This gear shifting drum assembly includes the entire shifter fork assembly all together.
When gear shifting lever is moved, it rotates the drum one increment. This rotation causes the rods or forks to move according to the grooves in the drum, changing the gears. This is a Transmission component in Motorcycle
